Since the 1820s, The Admiral Keppel Public House stood at 100, Old Hoxton Town.  Around 1910, there were twelve pubs on Hoxton Street:

When Ridgestone moved in to the ground floor and cellar of the old Admiral Keppel in 2000, there were nine pubs.  In 2011, there are five.
